For pump stations that already have a ventilation system, our passive canisters can be integrated very easily into the system.
The nozzle end of the stainless steel canister slips into any 4 inch socket style fitting and utilizes an “O” ring to seal the connection. Utilize a fabricated piping system of your own, terminated with a 4" PVC coupling or Fernco coupling, and add this canister to accomplish a custom configuration odor control unit.Carbon is included.
Each unit includes a base mounting ring. Mounting ring is made of 1/4" stainless steel with four holes for anchoring to a concrete surface. Four 3/8" SS wedge anchor are included. Legs are 12" tall and allow for some adjusting to assist with leveling the passive canister. Canisters are designed with a 4" inlet and are available in 16", 20" and 24" diameter canisters.
For canister CFM capacties, please refer to the chart located at the bottom of the "Powered Units" page.
Replacement Activated Carbon -
When is it time to change out the Carbon? When it starts to smell!
Every system is different so the life expectancy of the carbon is not easily predictable. On average, the carbon will last one to three years. During regularly scheduled station maintenance, if a pungent order is sensed it is time to replace or rinse the carbon. Rinsing the carbon thoroughly with clean water regenerates the carbon to a half life.
